Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to bookings made with International Wine and Travel ("we," "us") and to use of this website.
Bookings & Payment
A deposit of 25% of the trip price is due at reservation to hold your place. The balance payment schedule, accepted payment methods, and any trip-specific terms are confirmed in your booking confirmation. Prices are per person, based on double occupancy unless stated otherwise, and quoted in U.S. dollars; single-occupancy pricing is available where listed.
Cancellations & Changes
Because our journeys are small-group experiences with limited places and advance commitments to hotels, wineries, and partners, cancellations affect the whole group. The cancellation and refund terms that apply to your trip are provided in writing with your booking confirmation, before any payment beyond the deposit is due. Trips operate subject to a minimum number of guests; if we must cancel a departure, you will be offered a transfer to another departure or a refund of amounts paid to us.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical care abroad, and baggage is strongly recommended for all guests. We can suggest providers but do not sell insurance.
Travel Documents & Requirements
Guests are responsible for a valid passport (typically valid at least 3 months beyond travel for Europe), any required visas or travel authorizations (such as ETIAS for Europe), and meeting the health and entry requirements of destinations visited. We provide guidance, but responsibility for correct documents rests with each guest.
Health, Mobility & Conduct
Our journeys involve walking, stairs, vineyard terrain, and full daily itineraries. Please tell us about mobility limitations, dietary needs, or medical conditions at booking so we can advise honestly whether a trip is a good fit. We may decline or discontinue participation of any guest whose condition or conduct endangers themselves or others, or the enjoyment or safety of the group, without refund of unused services.
Our Role & Responsibility
We act as an organizer of travel services delivered by independent suppliers — hotels, restaurants, wineries, drivers, guides, and carriers. We choose our partners with care, but we do not own or control them, and we are not liable for their acts, omissions, delays, or failures, nor for events beyond our control (including weather, strikes, epidemics, or government actions). Where such events disrupt a trip, we will work in good faith to adjust the itinerary or recover costs; supplier refunds are subject to supplier policies. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Photography
We occasionally photograph our journeys for our website and social media. If you prefer not to appear, just tell us — we will always respect it.
